Anne Cecile Poulart’s college grades went up and down, as did her moods and emotions. Periods of high energy levels and pleasure were followed by longer periods of restlessness and a general feeling of worthlessness. She was diagnosed suffering from manic depression or ‘bi-polar disorder’.
After having consulted a large number of therapists, she learned that her mental disorder might be partially caused by toxic resources in food products or food supplements. She instantly switched to a macrobiotic diet.
This had a positive effect on her unpredictable mood swings and she was able to concentrate better and longer on a single subject.
She graduated at the top of her high school class and earned her admission into Stanford University. Here she was trained as a geneticist, finished her Phd, and became an active scientist in the field of genetics.
