Jennifer
Bradley was raised as a boy. Being the last child of a family
consisting of 5 older sisters and the parents, Jennifer was hoped to be
the boy the parents longed for. She was dressed in boy’s clothing
and was taken to do traditional boy’s things such as fishing and
playing soccer. Although this caused no troubles in her early childhood,
difficulties began when puberty kicked in. She found it hard to relate
to either boys or girls of her age and to make friends.
When her father died in an accident at work the ground was swept away beneath her feet. She became mentally unstable and was sent to relatives who loved in the mountains. However, her uncle’s perversions did her more damage than the fresh mountain air did her good. Upon returning to her hometown she was unable to adapt and became even more reclusive and withdrawn. In desperate attempts to be accepted she frequently gave herself to the boys in the neighbourhood. With, ofcourse, the opposite results. She became the laughing stock when she became pregnant. Some months after her son Marcel was born she wrapped him in blankets and disappeared. The baby was found crying on the doorstep of the could-be father Robert Poulart and Jennifer was found dead on the banks of the river Rhine.
