Emilia Marques is a painter who was born in the Basque Country, Spain.. She received her diploma in Fine Arts from the Basque Country University, Bilbao.
Her work is in public and corporate collections, including: the National Museum of Calcographie, Madrid; the Basque Country Government; and Cantabria's Government, Spain. She has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the Osakidetza Runner-up from the Basque Country Government in 1991. Marques states, "My life and my artwork are in such harmony that it is impossible to separate one from the other. Sometimes I know about my life through my paintings, and vise-versa."
